first: sorry for my english :-)

i have problems with uploading zip-files using the admin-tool and i
think it's by the "script duration" (scriptlaufzeit in german).

i only have a very slow connection to my server and now i'm searching
to set a param like "max_execution_time" or something like this but i
don't know where.

chmod is set to 777 and with a faster web-connection everything works fine.
i already searched the web and this forum but i did not find anything.

hope you understand me and hope to find help here...

You need to ask your ISP if he allows to change that value. It also could be that you reached the memory limit for processing scripts: http://www.zenphoto.org/2007/12/troubleshooting-zenphoto/#11

If you are not allowed to change any of the values, you simply need to upload either smaller files or use ftp. Or get a faster connection...:-)

ok i'll do that but i dont think to get the rights to change that.

ftp: i just tried using ftp but it doesn't work at all. i put a zip-file to the folder album.

did i forget anything? i can't see a new album in my admin-tool or in my gallery at all...

You can't upload and expand .zips via ftp. You need to upload a folder of images into the albums folder or images to a there already existing sub folder.
