I want to include a URL within my description of an image. It's a very long one so it's not wrapping and runs "off the page". Any suggestions?

Yes I do but I thought you already set the margins in the CSS. Didn't investigate too close yet as I'm in Edit mode. It takes a long time as I'm viewing one-by-one to add the descriptions and then have to go to Edit Comments to read my comment of which ones to mark invisible. Then go set them accordingly. Because I have a large number of images, it's too cumbersome working in Edit image mode as the Save is all the way down at the bottom of the page. And I'd not want to do so much editing without saving

One "problem" is the extreme diffrence viewing in Camino (Mozilla) and Safari. With setting text to default size, it's so noticeable. Camino is "awful" in comarison. The type is quite large, the image off-center. No idea what the site looks like on a PC so won't play around yet. (This comment isn't to reflect on zenphoto, it's a know issue with web pages that will never go away.)

It's coming together though and love the idea of the page title being used for the ALT text in each image.

I added back the full URL "" (brackets included) back so that I can see what needs to be adjusted. Then did a view of the page. The URL doesn't display but the text above and below it does! There's a gap where it should be.
(I know the http:// is missing)

Sorry, did copy/paste and forgot to remove hyphen that I used with notation - it's an actual place. In Wales. It's their website. The brackets are required so that it 'gracefully wraps' for PC users.

Ok, I just somehow noticed that thas must be Wales, but what is `` for a construction? I have never seen that...

If you want a link, it must at least include an href= construct. Perhaps your answer to acrylian's first question was not accurate.

The url is properly formatted now* --- that was actually not the issue as I wasn't concerned about it being a hyperlink so much as it wrapping correctly. As a hyperlink, it means the visitor is likely to click and be taken away from MY site to theirs

Yep, you have to be careful using brackets when they aren't HTML tags. The browser will get very confused.

To make it wrap correctly, put a space somewhere, get a shorter URL (seriously! lol) or use an Link Text link, which will be shorter to view but have the same effect.

I'll use the full syntax. In this specific case, using anything but the full URL doesn't convey as well. I would have caught the "
