My web host sucks and I think they broke something that makes my galleries not work. I want to install Zenphoto (the latest version) on a new domain. Then I want to move my galleries and have them work. Any chance of this happening? Can you import a gallery?

You will need to export your tables from your current host and the import them on your new host.

I'd use the same Zenphoto install files on your current host on your new host to get started and upgrade after you verify everything is working correctly.

I am also trying to move to my new host. I have currently uploaded all of the files from my old server, exported and succesffuly imported the database and changed the config file to reflect the new database.

I have also changed the website url to the new server (although I don't think that this affects the installation)

Does anyone know if there is something obvious I have missed as I get a blank (not 404) page when I browse the the ZP install. I realise that I have not actually created a new installation but surely having set up all the files, I don't need to.

Did you run setup.php, are the database infos correct, matches the new server the requirements? I would recommend that you just install zenphoto the normal way, then upload you database copy into the new database and then before browsing the gallery the first time copy back the copy of your albums folder.

No I did not run setup.php - that might be problem. I will try an REAL install and then move the image folders. The only other thing that might be a snag is that I had to downgrade the MYSql compat mode to 4 for the new server. But the db tables seem ok via PHPmyadmin.
