Forgive me for my ignorance, but I just downloaded and installed Zenphoto to my website. I run an adventure tour company and I want my clients to be able to upload their own photos to my site so that other people can look at them. But i can't figure out how that would work with Zenphoto. So far it just seems like a tool I can use for my own photos...

Help...?

Zenphoto supports multiple users. Just create a general user with a generic password and username with just upload rights in the admin options then everyon who knows it can upload. If you have a specific set of user you want to provide upload capability, you can create specific users with even upload rights to specific albums, too.

BTW, you could have used the forum search, too...:-)

I understand giving them upload rights only, but is there a way that they can add descriptions to only their photos? I don't want them to see all of the photos in the album, but I want them to be able to enter information about the photos they're uploading.

They can place the descriptions in the metadata of their images. Or they can create an XMP sidecar with the descriptions and upload that.

Can I create several level of access and restrictions for multiple users? For example I want others to see all photos and others some only- this is with regards to uploaders. Thanks!
