It's probably been there all along but I'm just seeing it. Curiousity, what is it doing? Heard ref to thickbox but no idea what it does and what this css is formatting.

Thickbox is a javascript/ajax technique for overlay popups. It's used on image.php to display the image Exif details (if you have some).
