I'm doing some customization, wondering what the most stable build is for zenphoto right now. Any opinion on that from anyone would be appreciated, thanks.

In that case 1.1.6 of course since that is the official release. But the nightlies are pretty stable, too, but of course we are working constantly on it, so things may change in detail.

About what customization are you talking? If you are working on your theme, that should be no problem.

actually, creating custom fields (about 7, that will be added to the database, and show on the front end with "title" and "description", also, a search that will search for "blue moon" and only pull albums with blue and moon. Not all blue, moon... I know when 1.5 came out, that later builds were better, and I assume the same with 1.6?

You would really be better off coming up with a scheme to pack those fields into the currently existing custom field. That way you do not have to constantly update your changes when Zenphoto changes.

As for the search, You can use blue & moon for your search. Or, if it is the string blue moon use "blue moon".
