I thought I read about a feature to let me do some basic edits to photos on the site -- cropping, rotating them upright, little things. But having made a trial install and uploaded some photos I can't find any such features anywhere. Was I hallucinating?

I'm looking for something to install for my wife to upload her snapshots, so doing the photo editing before upload is not on the table. I'm more looking for the sort of functionality we'd get on smugmug or flickr, running in our own webspace (not looking to support the huge user population and discussions, but I mean in terms of uploading organizing and displaying the photos).

Oh, and I did find the "browse your galley and edit on the go" link on the front page, but that just gets me to browse, no editing options anywhere I can find.

There is no photo editing facility. You can edit metadata such as titles and descriptons on the fly.

Okay. Misunderstood some of the general descriptions I think. I can find how to edit the metadata, anyway. Thanks!
