In my gallery, I have my photos (thumbnails) but above that in a big box, it says "ZEN PHOTO". In the themes it doesn't have this, it has a photo instead.

How do I get a photo in there to replace that text?

First, which theme are you using? If it is the Effervecence+ theme the answer is simple. First, update to the current nightly build. Then change the zen-logo.jpg image you will find in the efferevescence+ images folder.

If you are not using Effervescence+, also install the nightly build. Then look to see what image is now showing. It should be one of the images described here http://www.zenphoto.org/2008/05/theming-tutorial/#special-images. Follow the instructions there to replace the image that is showing.

NOTE: this is a new capability and therefore the nightly build is required to implement this replacement.

Okay, I did the update. I still don't know how to access any other images to substiute in that box. I'm still clueless.

Look in the themes/efferevescence_plus/images folder for a file named zen-logo.jpg. This is the image you need to replace.

By the way, you apparently did not do the update. Your site is still running the base 1.2 version.

Hummmm.
I used filezilla to get the files into my file manager. I see the new files from the nightly in there. I also see the original files from the base version. I bet I was supposed to delete those old ones, right? I was afraid I'd delete something I needed.

Well, obviously I wasn't supposed to delete the old files, because now I can't even get in. For Heaven's sake. There's nothing there. I guess I need to start over and just forget about trying to get my own pic in there.

Okay, started over. I'm going to forget about changing the zenphoto image. Is there any way to stop the 'tags' and the 'rating stars' from showing up under the photo?

For ratings, you disable the rating plugin on the plugins tab.

For the tags you have do delete the `printTags()` call in the image.php script.
