Hello, I have a problem:
Some of the thumbnails are not generated and not displayed:

You can see that on random images on http://varnikabhanga.online.fr/
and on most of the albums pages:
exemple: http://varnikabhanga.online.fr/index.php?album=jaipur

Why does it do so?
I tried many thing even regenerating the cache does not work

thank in advance for your help

I have a free hosting service and my image are only 1000x700
It is indeed the problem, I set the maximum request by server to 1 and now all pictures are showing,
But the problem is that not everybody will have this set up,
At first I believed if I generate the cache, it will be ok afterward but no,
So is there any other solution?

  1. There seems to be a bug sneaked in for that (http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=3840#post-23013)

  2. No, if your image sizes exceed the limit of your php memory on your server and you cannot raise that. Except moving to another host/hosting package with more resources and probably pay a little for it...:-)

I know the problem now: my host limit the number of simultaneous connections, I think it is 3.
Is there no way to limit the browser to have 3 simultaneous connections (firefox has 6 by default) through HTTP response or javascript ?
I read with HTTP1.0, firefox use only 2 connections but I did not find a way to force the browser to talk in HTTP1.0
in javascript, is there a way to set he maxconnections option of firefox for the current website ?
(probably not for security)

the only option that seems to be left is to download manually (through ajax) the images.
how to do that for background images?

Sorry, I can't help with that. Why even all that hassle? You said you are on free hosting? I would really suggest to get proper webspace. It's really not that expensive these days anymore.

Well, I am German, I don't know if any suggestion will really help you...:-)

Maybe some of our many French users have any suggestion. Or maybe this French Zenphoto community will be of help?: http://www.zenbien.com/
