I have a password protected gallery. I'm having tow experiences with it.

1. If I go to the site.com/photos/ and click on the gallery, it prompts me for a password which it will not accept. It puts me back at the main gallery without a change.

However, if I type in site.com/photos/albumtitle/ it prompts for a password which it DOES accept. So I know that it accepts passwords, it's just not accepting them if I click the gallery instead of going there manually. Any suggestions? I've looked around the forum and I'm a bit confused.

version 1.2 [2213], firefox, chrome, ie.

there are some bugs in the original 1.2 related to the password folders.

Try and update to the nightly build, it worked good for me a while back.

Thanks. I searched for some links on how to update to the nightly build, but I couldn't find any. Is there any documentation?

take a copy of zp-config.php in the folder zp-core.

delete zp-core folder.

upload the zp-core folder from the nightly build.

put the copy of zp-config.php back into the new zp-core folder.

open your web page and go through the update process.

You should always update all the files in the package--this includes the files in the theme folder and also the root folder. Otherwise you may have problems.
