hello,
i still having problem with refreshing database, been using zenphoto since version 0.8... i don't know whether it have relation or not, but when updating zenphoto i just overwrite files, instead delete the core and upload new files... thus i see some old files that left in zp-core folder
should i delete zp-core folder and upload fresh one?
for info, i am using powweb as zenphoto host
thanks before
You should delete the old files. If by accident one of the old files got left instead of being replaced with the new one, bad things could happen.
You have not said what you mean by having problems referesing the database. What is happening?
(I am on POWWEB as well. no problems there.)
sbillard thanks for the help
when i click on refresh database, everything goes fine
Refresh Database
database connected
We're all set to refresh the database
Go!
but after i click go, i always get error
(The Zenphoto object you are requesting cannot be found.)
Album: cgierrpage.html
Theme page: index
is it possible caused by left over old files?
i will try to delete old files and re-run setup again and see whether it fix the issue or not
hello
just now i try to re-run the setup
by deleting zp-core + index.php and then re-run setup.php
then try refresh database function again and i still got error
is it possible because broken database? or because i am using japanese for tagging pictures title (as before there some utf-8 issue)
thanks before
