Hello,
I've just done a fresh install with the latest nightly build. Besides still having a pagination issue (as described in a different thread), everything seems fine.

However, I've just noticed that when I set up a user login for the admin, the user can not change the order of the albums (I can with the admin login). It allows you to drag and drop the sort order of albums, but there is no 'save order' button like there is when I'm logged in as admin.

The user account has been given access to:

Manage all albums
View all albums
Edit

Also, in gallery options, sort order is set to manual.

Any ideas why there is no 'save order' button for the user account? It seems that I can only get the save order button when I have a user set up with user admin rights. Is this a bug? Can anyone confirm this behavior?

Cheers!

Hmm... Well I've updated to the latest nightly build and now when I set up a user with the following rights:

View all albums
Manage all albums
Edit
Upload

and save it, it doesn't save the settings and just sets the user with the following rights:

Themes
Uploads
View all Albums

Any ideas? I've been repeatedly updating to nightly builds hoping to fix little problems, and new problems seem to always be introduced. This is not a criticism, it just gets frustrating. I really would like to use this software but have had so many issues where it doesn't seem to behave like it is supposed to.

Also, I'm really suprised you cannot reproduce the pagination problem I have encountered (was posted in a different thread) on many fresh installs, with different nightly builds, and on different servers.

When I set index.php to show only a few albums and have a second or third page of album thumbs, it successfully goes to the second page or third page. However, it doesn't seem to want to go back to index.php via pagination link. And this is on unmodified fresh installs. :S

Thanks for any more insight.

It is the meandering rights feature

Seriously, it is a bug. Thanks for pointing it out. Will be fixed tonight.

Thanks for the info sbillard.

Regarding the pagination bug/issue... so you can't confirm this still? Do you happen to have a fresh install of the latest nightly build around so I can see the proper behavior in action? After all, seeing is believing!

Has the "Save As" button issue been fixed for 1.2.1 version? I've been banging my head on the desk trying to figure out why that button has been missing in my user account in my 1.2 version, thank god I found this thread.
