My 1st post here from a noob. I've been using Gallery2 for little over a year. I came accross ZENPHOTO yesterday and install it. It was a breeze.

Question #1
Since installation, I'm logged in as administrator but if I go to my Zenphoto Gallery using my other computer, I don't see the log in option anywhere. ¿Where is it?

Question #2
With Gallery2 my forum members can make their own albums. Is ZENPHOTO a single user gallery or can I use it as multi user gallery?

My current Gallery2 is not integrated to my boards and for the moment I have mo plan on intergrating (if possible) ZENPHOTO.

Any help will be appreciated.

1: The login is to be found via www.yoursite.com/zenphoto/admin (with modrewrite on). Additionally there is a user logon plugin for showing a login link: http://www.zenphoto.org/2008/06/zenphoto-plugins/#user_logout

Since this is optional you have to activate that plugin and add the function to call the link to your theme files where you want it to be show yourself.

2: Zenphoto supports multiple users. There is a plugin for this, too: http://www.zenphoto.org/2008/06/zenphoto-plugins/#register_user

You need to add the php function for the link to the theme files where you want it to appear. just enabling the plugin is not enough. Please take a look at the theming tutorial.

I think I'm going to stick to Gallery2 for now. Would have been very nice to enable the plug in without having to go to php edits afterward. This is out of my basic php knowledge. Thanks for your time.

You are giving in very fast, don't you? You don't need to have much php knowledge to add just one function to a theme file, some html knowledge is really enough...

No acrylian, I might sound like I gave up too fast. If I've been able to work with Gallery2 which is in my opinion more complex and modded my PHPB3 boards, I think I can take care of Zenphoto. Maybe I took a wrong moment to work with it, lots of photography editing pending to do has my mind cluttered. I might give Zenphoto another shot later, just that at 1st glance seemed overwhelming. Maybe is me.

Cheers!

If I've been able to work with Gallery2
Good point..:-) Anyway, if you get a little familiar with how Zenphoto themes work you will surely see that it is quite simple and straight forward in general, especially to add these two plugins.
