We have a lot of albums in our ZenPhoto gallery, mainly because we're using it for the newest video game screenshots. We have a lot of screenshots too, considering we aim to provide untagged images because nobody really likes those watermarks at the bottom.

I'm getting off track.

With so many albums, it's annoying to have everything appear on one page. Is there a way we could create some sort of alphabetical navigation where you see:

0 A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z

On the top of the page instead of piling them all up on one?

Well, normally all the albums will not be shown on one page--they will be paginated, so I have to presume you are using a custom theme.

Albums can be sorted alphabetically--see your options for setting the order

There is not existing function which would create the alphabetical index you desire but you can, of course, create one. It won't be simple since you will have to compute what page eact album will reside on in order to create the link.

Darn. I'm not one that's too good with creating plugins. Does anybody care to take on this task? It will benefit not only me but other ZenPhoto users across the web.
