I have several geolocated images with Digikam. I would like to use the Google Maps plugin, but Zenphoto do not read the geographic data of some photos.

I do not differentiate between the two, apart from Digikam version (0.9.3 vs 0.10.0). Is that the problem can come from there?

Do the failures correlate to which version of Digikam you used?

When the data is correctly read, they appear in the details of the photo (see example one in my first post, located with Digikam 0.9.3). But in the second case, it will not appear. However, if you save the photo on your hard drive and you open it with a software that can read the exif data, you will see that they are present.

I guess yes. To check, I opened an image with Gexif. I changed the height (one meter), then I saved the changes. The data were then correctly read by Zenphoto ...

Ok, sounds like a bug in Digikam creating something wrong with the IPTC data. If you wish us to check this with Zenphoto, create a ticket and attache the good and bad versions of the images.
