I've installed zenphoto at http://www.irmashapiro.com

However, when I click on one of the galleries: http://www.irmashapiro.com/zenphoto/abstract/
I get the error message:
PAGE NOT FOUND

We cannot locate the page you're looking for. Please check the address and make sure all letters are lowercased with no spaces. You may also move to a different page by using the links in the menu bar above.

I believe it is may be a problem with htaccess. Any suggestions on how to fixg?

Either your server does not support modrewrite then you have to disable it on the admin options. Or you did not upload the .htaccess file as this is invisible on some systems like Mac OS. Or the htaccess file is not configured correctly although setup should have done that. So maybe it did not have write access to the file.

It is in fact some problem with your .htaccess. Have you made changes to it? Really, all that should be needed is to let setup create it for you from the source file included with Zenphoto.

You can, of course, disable mod_rewrite and things will work without a .htaccess file.

The htaccess file has been uploaded and I did make changes to it because of issues with the host.

remove the .htaccess file you created and upload the one that comes with Zenphoto. Then be sure to run setup.php so that it makes the appropriate changes to the file.

i've got the same problem. it's probably .htaccess but i don't know how to modify this file. there's sth about my website adress but don't know where to drop it.

Are you on a MAC? Then probably the file zenphoto supplied is invisible to you. Search the forum for this topic, I know there are several suggestions. Sorry, but I don't use a MAC, so I don't pay attention to these solutions.

Yiou should not need to modify the file. Just upload the one that comes with the distribution and be sure to run setup.php. Setup will make any modifications needed/

I suggest to contact your host. Maybe modrewrite is not configured correctly or anything else is different. Do you have another system maybe in the root folder of your site that uses also htaccess? Maybe you got a conflict there.

Could you write here what i have to do when instaling? every modify etc. because i'm not sure if i know about every step.
