Hi,
just upgraded to the newest version and have run into troubles as I can't add new albums to my gallery? A couple of strange things happens:

1. I can add a new folder in the 'album' folder via either ftp or the built in functionality
2. I can see the new folder via ftp and I can see the new folder and content in the 'albums' in the admin control room
3. But the album itself is not displayed in the web gallery?
4. It has been working smooth as ever up to today
5. I have tried removing the entire gallery from the server and reinstalled it, but no success,

any suggestions?

Please look to see if you are getting any CGI errors reported. Also check the settings of mod_rewrite and your rewrite base in .htaccess.

What exactly is happening when you view the album? Can you view the gallery home page?

thank you for the fast reply.

I have just installed the 1.2.5 gallery and this works fine (I deleted the mysql database and created a new one, so that might have been the solution???).

I will try to install the new version again and see how that goes.

Regarding your suggestions, can you elaborate a bit on how to perform those steps exactly, as I am not experienced in this.

ps: also, the 1.2.5 seems to play movies, I couldn't do this in the new version either?

You will have to speak with your service provider regards how to access your CGI logs. That is server and provider software dependent.

The mod_rewrite option is found on the Zenphoto options tab
