Hey all - Is it possible to adjust the theme of Subfolders within your albulm?

It seems that if i set the theme for an albulm on the root, the theme is propogated to all child albulms also (i would like to change this so that it is flexible)

Any ideas on how i can do this?

Thanks

You can set individual themes only for first level albums. Go to the album edit tab and select a theme for the album.

There is no intent to change this.

For large enough projects it might be needed. For example project I work on currently requires many themes for different subalbums. Is there something in core that prevents it? The field for theme exists for every subalbum - correct?

It exists for every subalbum but is only looked at for the prime albums. There is no plan to change this as we believe the performance cost is not justified.

Even if we don't have album themes for sub albums you should not and need not to hack the core. You can easily setup your theme itself to use different css files for specific albums with simple if/else constructs.
