Hello,

I want to have multiple separate photogalleries (zenphoto installations) on our web server. However I would like the photogalleries to use one shared core as we don't have unlimited space. Is it possible? Having three identical copies of the 11MB core on one server seems pointless to me.

Thanks,
Ondra

Sorry, that is not possible. But you can try if you can achieve the same result by using "album themes" maybe.

What do you mean by album themes?

You can assign specific theme to specific albums (top level albums only). Look at the edit page of an album, there is a dropdown selector.

Actually, with the current version of zenphoto what you wish is possible but not directly from zenphoto. You would have to make a "symlink" for the zp-core files from one of the installations that redirects the file system to the zp-core of the other.
