I see that someone else has asked my question here about 11 months ago - see http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=4127#post-24647 - why is there no login button or link on the index page of the Gallery I've just installed? I selected the register_user and user_logout plugins, which get me 'Register for this site' and 'logout' links respectively, which is great, but I've never seen 'login'. (I have also chosen the user_groups plugin.) The reply to the original person making this query was:

With modrewrite the link is pretty simple: www.yourdomain.com/zenphoto/admin or >www.yourdomain.com/admin J
But of coruse you can just add a link to the login to your theme files.

The second fix seems the easiest. Is it still required and the best way to fix the problem?

The ordinary users can login from the page www.yourdomain.com/zenphoto/admin, of course, but it's not evident or memorable to them. Yes, they could bookmark it - but they may still forget to look in their bookmarks after not having logged in for a time.

I also tried bookmarking the link that comes in the E-mail confirming my registration as a test ordinary user, but every time I click on that the gallery administrator (me!) gets an E-mail which says " has registered for the zenphoto gallery providing an e-mail address of " and is rather annoying.

Showing the login form is an option of the user_logout plugin.
