Yes, it is normal. It is actually a setting on the options. Default is that Zenphoto forces to choose a secure password.

No, it is not normal if it does not work. Maybe a typo? Possibly related to the other thread. We need more info about your setup.

OK I've deleted the request characters and that's OK with my password.
