i tried to upload image that was taken by Olympus E-510 at 10Mpix in SHQ mode, but apache says:
[Thu Dec 24 23:19:22 2009] [error] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xx] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in /home/mail/user/public_html/zp-core/exif/exif.php on line 164
no matter how long is maximum_execution_time in php.ini, then zenphoto hangs. to be able to watch the galleries I have to delete last uploaded file.
i also tried to upload 10Mpix image from some other camera, and there was no problem.
