For some bizarre reason when I went onto to my website cstphotography.co.uk/gallery it wouldn't show my portfolio, so I downloaded the new upgraded version of zen photo and it still won't access my portfolio.

You have to check your installation and server. Safari reports an "internal server error" and the source shows "". Maybe your htaccess file is not correct but that is just a guess. You have to look at the server's error log.
