Can I place a albumdescription only on the imagelist ? At the left the thumbs and at the right side a description of the album. But no description on album- or subalbumpage. I am using the zenpage-default theme. My idea was: Thumbs in "content-left" and the description in "sidebar" - but for the album- and subalbumpage I have "content-left" defined as the whole width, so that it doesn't match.
How can I do the different styles ?

Sorry, I don't exactly understand. As long as you are in the given context you can place the album desc where you want. If you are talking about the list of the albums that must be within the albums loop.

The problem is the different formatted pages: album.php ist for the album-page with thumbs of the different albums (galleries) and for the thumbnails of the pictures from the album (gallery). The album overview is formatted as the whole width (content-left)and the pictures overview should be two parts: content-left (thumbs) and sidebar (discription). So I need different formatting ?

Yes, you assume correctly that you need to modify the theme to fit your needs.
