I am getting very similar errors. I changed permissions. No luck. When I carry on and press go and then view my photos then they are not viewable, just the little red cross. I have reviewed the trouble shooting guide! Have I missed something?

I am using ubuntu as a local LAMP server, so using sudo is no problem. Is there a way I can set the setup.php with enough authority so it can set the permissions and I don't have to do it manually. I am also doing development on a Windows7 machine that is accessing the shared "albums" folder and sometimes the www folder so it seems it keeps messing up the security and I would like to reset the folder security properly using setup.php. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Whoops... I am using virtual hosting with two zenphoto sites on my local server and didn't watch which VirtualHost(servername) went to which www directory. I am new to Ubuntu/Linux/Apache so am having to figure things out. I am assuming, that I can just rerun setup.php on the appropriate ServerName to reset the security. http://ServerName/zp-core/setup.php?
