Hi All,

I need to have multiple albums, and they need to each have their own separate password-access.

I figure the only to do this is through .htaccess. I know how to set that up through cPanel, but the problem I'm running in to is that because the way ZenPhoto is set up, I can't password protect individual album directories because they themselves are getting re-written through .htaccess.

I think that made sense... Does anyone know how I could password protect individual albums?

Thanks in advance.

No ideas?

I can't make ZenPhoto's albums appear like:
/albums/albumname and then put an .htaccess file in the /albumname directory?

It doesn't seem like I'm able to do this with clean URL's or the default URL's ZenPhoto spits out, so I need to find an alternative way.

Did you or anyone else figure this out? I urgently need a password solution as well.

I tried after disabling mod-rewrite and .htaccess still does not work. What am I doing wrong? Can someone please suggest a step-by-step approach? I am using Dreamhost.

Is there no solution for password protection? I have tried everything and nothing works. Guys, you have no idea how much this will help me. I have tried .htaccess w/ and w/o mod_rewrite ON. With mod_rewrite ON I have even tried protecting /gallery/targetalbum instead of /gallery/albums/targetalbum using Dreamhost's control panel. This is the only thing that has any effect: gives an error and when I remove password protection that directory becomes unusable in Zenphoto and displays "Index Of" even though I have a "blank" index.php in it. Someone please help.
