I've made a 'test' album, and (via SFTP) uploaded two movies. I got them both from KeepVid.com. One a FLV file (low quality) and one MP4 file (low quality) They are both trailers from a movie. I'm using them for testing purposes.
The album shows nothing inside. The files are 'chown 644' and world-readable. I have made no changes to flowplayer --- only accepted the defaults.
What else is required for me to play movies on my site?

flv is not a codec but a container format that can contain various video codecs. You have to check on flowplayer's own site what it actually supports.
Also flowplayer does not support all mp4 settings, again you have to try and check on the flowplayer site what it does.
On thing I know is that some mp4 export setting from Quicktime for example somehow do not work while ffmegX export generally does.
Thanks for replying. I use linux extensively, and I'm a little familiar with `ffmpeg' and other video conversion tools.
We don't know what Flowplayer does exactly. Please refer to: http://flowplayer.org/
Hello
I have checked out the site, and it seems that I may be required to download some packages, and add some JavaScript to my pages.
Q: What is the purpose of the zenphoto flowplayer plugin?
Q: How does one go about using the zenphoto flowplayer plugin, without referring to flowplayer.org?
Q: is everything I need included in zenphoto plugin? What is not provided by plugin?
I thank you very much for your time, and your patience.
Felipe
You don't need anything to add. Enable hte video class plugin and the flowplayer3 plugin to play the formats .flv, .mp4 and .mp3 as documentated. It does work as expected.
But as told some codecs (flv is a container...) or settings (size, bitrate etc) may not work with Flowplayer. About those details we can't tell you anything because we made the PLUGIN but NOT the PLAYER. You have to ask that on the flowplayer site.. Understood?
