Well, first one I have figured it out, the sample text is really small and thus it takes only the image tag for preview in the rss feed.

But I can't find a solution for the second issue. Surely there is a problem here. The pictures have the URL link to "pic_02.jpg" but the image description tells that "picture_01.jpg" is displayed. I guess it's a small error in the script.

Oh BTW, it would be nice to be able to setup the RSS text sample lenght in the admin or to have a longer text by default.

So the first issue was for articles that have also image within the content. It is probably because our truncate function tries not to destroy html tags for validation reasons so if you have only a few text and the image would be "cut" it can clear all

The second issue I probably still don't understand. All looks fine to me (except that one image thumb for one crayon studies picture is not generated). If I hover an image it displays the correct text.

(btw, nice mod of the Zenpage theme. Don't forget to submit to the showcase later)

Sry, I should have posted a new reply, I had edited previous one with this mention:

Here's a sample from where the problem begins:

Item 1 seems to be just fine but at a closer look it can be seen that it points out for the preview image to:

src="http://www.adrianmoisa.ro/zp-core/i.php?a=videouri-aerografie&i=bmw-tunat-aerografiat[b].txt[/b]&s=480"

That's why the image is missing.

Item two and the following ones present the same problem except that this time the link syntax is corect, not so the adress:

src="http://www.adrianmoisa.ro/zp-core/i.php?a=schite-si-desene&i=studii-creion-[b]001[/b].jpg&s=480"

Hope this will help you to spot the faulty code.

I see it in your feed but I can't reproduce it with mine. Please try a database refresh, maybe you have some outdated entries (overview admin page).

At least for the rss-news.php feed you can set the text lenght on the Zenpage plugin options.

My databases are no older than june 2010. I was still in the early stages when I updated to 1.3.0 and uploaded all my images again just to be sure.

Are you opening the localhost/rss-news.php?withimages feed?

I have made a clean install on my local server and added a few images to have something to work with. I tried a few scenarious and it seems that all feeds but the /rss-news.php?withimages feed, lang or no lang, are ok. I have exactly the same problem as on server.

Sometime Zenphoto does not know about image or change if they have not been requested (Zenphoto does not look automatically if you upload via ftp for example).

I am using the same rss feed and it seems all fine for me. What "bug" I encountered is that images with the same name and different suffixes seem not to work in the feed but I guess that is something different... But maybe it is related as the failure happens in the image processing link as on your issue...

Update: I think I might have found it! An oversite as so often, called a variable before it was actually setup so the one from the previous. Damm, what a stupid mistake... Thanks for insisting about this issue. A fix for rss-news.php is in the svn now, you can this time just get that one file.

Works like a charm! Wish I could buy you a drink... Thanks very much for your help!

Oh and not to forget, I am happy to know that you like my template. I posponed my site's submission cause I wanted to be sure that all glitches are fixed. Today I can say that my site is either 99.9% or 100% finished for release.

I'll go and post it right away in the showcase topic.
