first time posting..

2 questions:

1. is there any way to make the thumbnails show the whole or at least most of the original photo? at the moment it just shows a small portion from the center of the original, which yields somewhat random and strange images.

2. how exactly function the crop setting for the thumbnail? i tried changing values and in my current setup, i couldn't see much different.

1. There is an option to disable cropping. If you want more control you can use various image functions on the theme directly.

2. Depends on the theme you are using which you did not tell. Some have fixed sizes for design reasons.

i'm using the default theme btw
