After installing the latest update, all of my gallery links turn up a page not found error.

Anyone have some advice?

No .htaccess file?

The htacess file exists in the zp-core folder. Uploading it to the root as well made no difference.

Well, mod_rewrite is not working on your site for some reason. Disable the option an things should function.

Having the .htaccess file in the zp-core folder will do no good. A properly configured one needs to be in the zenphoto folder. Did setup mention anything about the file? The one in the zp-core folder is just a template. And it does not have the period as in .htaccess.

I seem to recall the setup mentioning it, and offering to create one. Which I'm sure I told it to do. As for the mod_rewrite, where would I need to go to fix that? Is it a zenphoto thing, my web host, or something I can adjust with my ftp client?

If you told setup to create it the might have been prevented by a file/folder permissions issue. You should find something in your server's error log.

Modrewrite must be available on your server so you will have to contact your host.

The odd thing is that another gallery I have, that is using an older version of zenphoto (1.2.5_RC2), still works. So, mod_rewrite must be enabled on the server. Is it possible that it's the folder permissions?
(here's the other gallery: http://9toes.com/zenphoto2/)

Well, if I read your dialog correctly you have taken the htaccess file from the zp-core folder and placed it in the root folder of your installation. This is not proper.

I suggest you un-do anything you have done with htaccess or .htaccess, upload the files named setup*.php if you removed them, and then re-run setup paying close attention to what it tells you.

I reinstalled the software and now things are working fine. Thank you for your help.
