I have two Zenphoto websites, both use a modified Default theme with the same settings and just minor differences in the CSS. One site works fine, the other has an annoying problem: the big image (on the image.php page) is "fuzzy". If i click the image, it shows on it's own page and looks fine. I size all my images before uploading so ZP doesn't have to resize them for the big image: 500px in height. I checked and the big image on the image page is 500px high. I've compared all the settings between my two sites and they are the same. I've deleted one fuzzy image (and cached image) and re-uploaded and it's the same. Not all the images are fuzzy, but most are. Any ideas?

...oh, and yes, I tried applying the Default theme: same thing.

Check the setting you have for "image quality". Most likely you have set this too low.

I had it at the default -- same as on my other Zenphoto site which works fine -- then set the quality to 100%. No difference.

If you change image settings you have to clear the image cache to see an effect. Of course if your images have already the right size they are not processed at all.

Maybe have a link so we understand what exactly you mean with "fuzzy"?

Oh, forgot to mention: latest version of ZP. I had cleared the cache both in the admin page and via FTP to no effect. What did work was to go to the Options > Theme and actually clear the Image size field and Save (I'm uploading my images at the correct size already). The big images then popped into focus. Can't send a link to an example, because it's working now
