In Zenphoto 1.3.1.2:

1. What format (.mov,.flv,.mp4) of video will the plug-in class_video support by itself?
2. And what additional formats will flowplayer add?
3. I have read & re-read all the Help files about video but am now totally confused. What format of video will your downloaded Zenphoto 1.3.1.2 version play with a default installation?
4. I cannot see any files in my "video" sub-album even though I have placed them there via an FTP uploader. The two files uploaded were named "video.jpg" and "video.mp4" with the jpg file being a single frame culled from the mp4 video.
   5.My browser is Firefox 3.6.11 and the Quicktime, Shockwave Flash, and Java platform add-ons are installed. Do I need anything else?

Well, it supports none by itself!

flv, mp3, and mp4 are supported by your zenphoto flash player plugin

3gp and mov are supported by your browser plugins.

Please note that Flowplayer may not support all formats. .flv is a container that can contain multiple codecs. Which are supported depend on the Flash plugin. .mp4 is a codec but these players may have issues with certain settings. Please refer to the Flowplayer site's forum if you have issues with certain files and for more info.

Just installed zenphoto and trying to upload videos. Upload was fine but when I played it there's sound but no picture showing. Please help!

@acrylian - I saw and read that note but as I said in my post everytime I clicked on "Send Post" it sends me to a page with a "Topic Not Found" on it so I was unsure if my post was sent or not.

Apparently, your note below should be changed from "do not appear at once" to "topic not found" page instead because that's what I kept getting when I tried to post a new topic.
