I've successfully setup ZP many times before however I'm having a problem now.

On the newest version and also 1.2 on the the setup I'm simply unable to get past the first screen due to it telling me that it "could not connect to the database server"

I'm 100% sure that the details are correct, permissions given and the database is definitely at "localhost".

Googling this has lead me to quite a few forums etc where others have mysteriously had the same issue, not being able to get past screen 1 due tot his error.

I've also tried hard coding the db details into zp-config.php.source.

Is there some known issue I'm missing here?

nevermind, sorry, despite being 100% sure i had db password right, I didn't.
