Hi I have 1.4.0.3 zenphoto with zpArdoise theme with 2655 images. It's working veeeery slow. Loading photos to cache does not help. The problem is with taking data from database (mysql). Is there any option to load pages to static cache ? Any button ? Visited pages works ok.

I have enabled static_html_cache v1.4.0 but that's not ideal solution. What I have to do If I want to have gallery in "static cache" but same pages with different cache expire date? Same pages changing often same not. All must be in static cache because without this plugin gallery works horrible

How I can optimize options in admin menu to have faster gallery ?

Maybe your images are just to big dimensionwise for your server to process?

What is the problem with the static cache plugin. Just clear it when you change something, by default it updates itself every day.

Also talk to your host about servers settings regarding caching server side.

Also disable the visual album thumb selection and set a fixed album thumbs for all albums (there is an tool on the overview page). This speeds up the admin album list. Also try the development build as that introduces a standin image for the album thumbs on the backend.

My images are max 710 pixels so I don't think they are to big.

Please think about new function in static cache plugin. I would like to refresh only selected pages not all.

Your easiest way to refresh only some pages would be to delete the cache file for those pages.

Yes that's great idea !!! Just delete files in cache_html.

We could probably add a filter/optin checkbox so the html_cache is deleted everytime an item has been editied.

To sort that out by type would be probably not reliable as some items may be displayed on other pages (like menus or latest items stuff).
