Could someone let me know why some photos in this album are "broken"

I've the images are fine and in the folder but they are showing as broken.

Is there anyway to fix these? The images are quite large.

I trust you have already read the troubleshooting guide on this?

We're on our own dedicated server with 8GB of memory and 8 CPU Cores.

I can't understand why the images are not loading.

Your php memory is not necessarily 8GB! Check the value using phpinfo().

the memory_limit is currently 64M, I'll get that increased later and reboot.

Will the images automatically try again to re-create or will I need to somehow manually for a refresh of the broken ones?

They should as they are not cached yet.

Awesome, just upped to 256MB and they are now working.
