all cache disable and i just discovered a problem.

i've made my entire album directory structure ready and having all files exif intact with camera and shooting details.

weather i upload through admin web or as folder copy in local intsalled or live.

some how random file gets wrong dates instead it should grab as taken date from exif.

anybody else have the same problem ?
how to resolve this ?
refreshing metadata after copying entire folder structure refresh all 1500+ files but still i am getting few files dates wrong.

please guide.

here is what you can see : http://www.wildart.in/zp_problems/date_issue.png

you can see on left Under Title "Greater Spotted Eagle" date shown is wrong "12/18/2010" whereas if you see the exif on bottom it shows "Original Time Taken: 2011:03:12 07:37:58" . . . .

I refreshed Database, refreshed metadata, clear image cache, every possible solution i tried even i tried to remove entire album folder clear everything in overview and paste entire 1200 files with structure and refreshed database and metadata many times but no luck everytime i get may random files with wrong date and its really hard to check for entire 1400+ files dates.

can anyone please guide for the solution ?

Maybe the camera does not follow the standard of EXIF. We don'T have or can't test all types regarding our importer. And there are quite some that for example use several fields differently.
Maybe the file date is taken somehow. I can'T answer and will leave any further investigation to sbillard.

Of course without the original image nothing can be known. There are many fields involved with dates in image metadata. Thre is also no rule that they need all be consistent.
