Hi all,

I've been looking around on the internet for 'photo-server' scripts for a while and zen-photo seems really nice. What I have is a home-theater pc, which is also used as webserver. I've got many photo's and video's on an external usb drive connect to this pc. What I would like to be able to do is to access these photo's over the internet using zen-photo. What I cannot find however is whether zen-photo is capable of doing is.

You can set external album folders. See the zp-config.php file within /zp-data. That probably should work if that is the same server/computer. Probaly you need to use symlinks or something similar. Can't help exactly but try the forum search.

Besides that Zenphoto does not support files hosted elsewhere.

Okay, thanks. I've search the forum before posting the question but couldn't really find a definitive answer.
Would I need to change anything with the folder structure? Do you know if I would have to change anything on the current folder structure, I would really like to keep it the way it is and have zenphoto kind of index all the pictures/videos.

No, the "external" albums folder usage should behave like the "local" one. Note that videos and other multimedia files will not work (as noted)
