Hi

I currently have zenphoto successfully installed in the /root/zenphoto folder on my home server with my current domain pointing to it from dyndns.

I have purchased a more suitable domain name and I am setting it up in root/newdomain and need to relocate the zenphoto installation to this folder.

I am seeking advice on how to proceed to do this without breaking the database (I know how to create a new database, that is the extent of my knowledge on mysql), and to ensure all remains as it is now just in the new location.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

So it is still the same server using the same database? Then you don't need to relocate Zenphoto actually. Two options:

1. Either rename the current folder /zenphoto to the /newdomain one. Then re-run setup.

or

2. Point the domain direclty to the /zenphoto folder then you don't even need to change it. Also re-run setup after this.

Could I ask one more question - at the top of the site there are the links to pages, news and archives. Is it possible to have text on the top of the main screen beside them that behaves like a link eg, BLog which when clicked links to my blog which is a seperate wordpress installation on the same server.

Regarding your link question. Generally yes. But you probably will have to change your theme to use that (you did not tell which it is but with links on top it is surely a 3rd party one). There is also a menu manager plugin but even that might require theme changes.
