I am looking to post thumbs of perhaps the 5 or 10 most recent images on a page in a theme.

I appreciate this topic has been covered many times before and currently there are limitations of Zenphoto regarding date and time stamping.

I am not a coder (I design) but with my limited knowledge of php / sql I think a function could be written to retrieve the most recent images uploaded based on the id field in the images table. Unfortunately I am not really sure where to start.

I have looked at the early implementations of ZenShow (I know that this is a Wordpress plugin) and the early releases displayed the most recent Zenphoto image on your wordpress install. So I am sure that theoretically this could be done.

Any thoughts?
