I had an old install of 1.1.2, and was able to step upgrade to 1.1.5 just fine. From there I tried to upgrade to 1.4.1.1 and am having an issue right away trying to upgrade.

After uploading all the files, and running /gallery/zp-core/setup.php, I'm getting the following message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=', expecting ')' in [redacted]/gallery/zp-core/functions.php on line 513

Any ideas what may be going on?

Thanks for any help,
-Matt

I noticed the domain was running PHP4.x - Upgrading to 5.2, and will give that a shot first.

Let us know. I was not aware that PHP4 had this restriction. But maybe it does.

Sorry about the double post, didn't see my own reply show up, so I created a new thread - my apologies (feel free to delete the other post).

After upgrading to PHP 5.2 (and uploading my own php5.ini), I was able to step through the upgrades and eventually get there. Working well at the moment, thanks!

If you had read the obvious red message right above the form you would not have been surprised...
