Hi all,

I've spent some considerable time looking for a shopping cart extension for zenPhoto, unfortunately all I can come across is old extensions that don't seem to work. The PayPal extension zenPayPal doesn't work properly as it always errors on connection to PayPal. My understanding from what I have seen is that it's no longer compatible with the newest version of zenPhoto.

Perhaps I am just overlooking a simple solution but surely there is something out there for shopping cart integreation (Google, Paypal something along those lines)?

If anyone could help I'd be very appreciative!

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I just install zenPaypal 1.1.7.4 and it's working fine with last zen.

I don't know where you looked but this is listed with a link to that page above on the extension section as well. http://www.zenphoto.org/news/zenpaypal

How strange.. When I install it I get a PayPal error.
Here's a link to an image on in my gallery with the PayPal extension installed: http://aelphotography.co.uk/zenphoto/Horse/Archie/IMG_9283_1312582372.jpg.php

Maybe it's just me but I can't see why I'd get that problem.

If someone could have a look I'd be much appreciative as I haven't yet found a piece of photo management software as good as this!

Thanks!

My own fault! I couldn't see the PayPal user ID for looking.. I looked at a few things online and saw in my source code that there wasn't an e-mail address associated. Eventually I found the PayPal user ID in the options and have it working. Thanks anyway guys.

Preferable to write your PayPal ID number and not your email PayPal. You see this number ID on your PayPal's preference.

And if you desire, you can to try the version 1.1.8 !

Some help, please. I am running the current versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL on a windows XT SP3 in a localhost environment. I am trying to install zenPayPal with no success. The fact that it is delivered as a TAR file makes me think that it is somehow dependant on a UNIX environment. Has anyone successfully used it under Windows? When I put it in the Plugins folder, it does not show up in the Admin plugins screen for activation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, it's an archive tar.gz! Not depend to the environment UNIX.
Depend only to the unarchiver soft.

Perhaps use a soft as 7-zip => http://7-zip.org
(a really and powerful soft archiver...)

Thanks for the reply. I did unarchived it using 7-zip and put it in the plugins folder but it does not show up under admins - plugins so that I can activate it. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Quick guess: you put the folder into /plugins. But you need to put its contents there. That wil be php file and a folder named the same.
