Hi!

When I call my photopage today it suddenly sais: 'setup scripts missing' (http://www.strickwerk-productions.com/foto), even If I call the admin page. I haven't changed anything. What is wrong?

Setup scripts are not necessary and are recommended to be deleted after the installation is completed. Of course you need them again if you update the install but then you upload them again anyway.

I have no idea to your problem. Looks like your install is not correct. Maybe aks your host if they changed anything.

Don't know what it was. Had to bring it up again and made the update by the way.

Something changed in you installation that lead Zenphoto to believe it needed to run setup to accomodate the change.

i did same, my hoster surprisingly changed the PHP_Version in my installation! (without any words ;-) After i understood, that this leads Zenphoto to believe it needed to run setup (again) i did search for the "missing files" on my pc (setup.php & the folder setup), loaded them back again onto my server, into the zp-core - folder, did let run the update and after that all went best again! hugh. ;-) hope this will be useful. one thing else: like did mentioned above, i had to update the Zenphoto installation. well, looks ggod so far. but now i am unable to get the front- and the backend in my preferred language back again. it does appear allways in english, although the german mo & po do last on the server as before. and the "HTTP Accept Language" is not willing to be deselected. it doesnt matter, what i do. puh, what should i do now? have i to do some database mining ...?

1.4.1.2? Then try the trunk nightly build as I recall an issue with option saving being fixed.

For the languages your server needs gettext support installed otherwise even that option saving will not help.

meanwhile i'd tried a 2. Instalation, to test if a fresh zenPHOTO will work in the usual way and i wondered cause during this i got an error message about that missing gettext support.

I will ask my hoster immideately what this suddenly missing item should mean! ;-(

all right - got gettext support installed - zP works pretty well like before :-)
