Dear all,
I uploaded some new images to an new album. They upload normally but when they are in the album they are not shown. Only the Zenphoto placeholder with the red "x". Album description and image description work normally.
I renamed the images and even tried another file-ending/format...
Any suggestions?

That can mean several things:

1. Your server is not able to process/generate thumbs as
   a) the graphic library is not there or wrong configured or
   b) the images are too large dimension wise for the server. Info on the troubleshooting.

2. The permissions are wrong so the full images cannot be accessed.

I still dont know why this doesnt work out.
But:
I found a solution

• I save all images as .jpg
• I upload them via FTP.
  Then it works out great...

Well, it might be that the GD libarly is not configured correctly and only supports jpgs. We cannot answer, you should contact your host about that.

You should also review your server error log. If this is the case that would surely be noted.
