Are there any plans to support a zip file, like you do mp3, mp4, pdf, flv etc?

ZIP files are supported. Look at the comment on the [i]upload -> images[/i] tab.

You can use the function printAlbumZip()

I have a 3.5mb zip file in the directory, but it is not showing up. I put it there via FTP.

The zip is made up of .mp3 files which are ringtones that I created. Because it does not have image formats archived, could that be why it is not showing?

Try uploading via the [i]upload -> images[/i] tab.

Zip files are not regogniced in the automatic discovery process. If you are using FTP you need to unzip them before uploading them. Alternataive as fretzl has said, use the [i]upload->images[/i] tab to upload the file.
