The spam filter does not work with Zenphoto 1.4.2.1. Still I upgrading to version 1.4.2.1 a number of days back. I got next to no SPAM comments at all. But tonight in less than 4 hours. I have well over 60 of them.

Anyone else had this?

Um, there is more than one spam filter. Mind sharing with us what you are using?

Captcha is not exactly a spam filter like Akismet. Maybe you should use such a proper one. It's third party and to be found on the extensions section.

captcha is simply a "human" detector. If a human does pass that test he can input anything he wants. As acrylian has said, a proper spam filter is what you need.
