Hey there,

I just upgraded a couple of my ZenPhoto installations and followed your "Upgrade Instructions" located: http://www.zenphoto.org/news/installation-and-upgrading

Everything worked out great...except the instructions did not say anything about noting your "Thumb Size" and your "Image Size"...because when you upgrade ZenPhoto it puts all of those settings back to the ZenPhoto default. It wasn't a big deal, had it fixed in no time, but it would've been nice to have seen that somewhere, that way I wouldn't have had to visit the site to discover that my gallery images were the wrong size.

Just a suggestion

Thanks,
Josh

Actually, this should not happen. Anyway, there is no such "Zenphoto default" as each theme makes its own choice as what these sizes should be.

It could happen if you changed the database prefix--then in essence it would be a new install. It would also change if you changed themes and the new theme was different.

I think those defaults do/did exist on older Zenphoto release, 595px for the full image anad 100px square cropped for thumbs.

Thank you both for your reply, I created the themes along time ago, so maybe there is something in the theme itself causing the issue

Thanks,
Josh

You will find out the best way if you try one of the included themes and review the theming tutorial about possible things to change.
