Currently running a WAMP Installation, running PHP 5.3.10 Apache 2.2.21 and MySQL 5.5.20. I've installed both Wordpress and Gallery3 on the localhost already, so I don't think it's a connection problem. However...

Whenever I try to install (whether entering the server's information through zenphoto.cfg or by going through setup.php), I get a "Connection was Reset" error in Firefox (and Internet Explorer). I am really stumped. Not seeing any errors in the PHP logs or Apache or MySQL.

I thought it might have had something to do with the 127.0.0.1 -> localhost bug, but my hosts file is set properly and setups for other PHP dependent installs haven't had any problems.

Any help would be appreciated!

See if you can get PHP 5.3.8. I have had problems running PHP 5.3.10.

Diid you look into your server error logs?

So, then find and try PHP 5.3.8 as originally suggested. We are in no postition to test each permutation of apache server and PHP so you will have to try what is known to work or do experiment until you find a working combination.

For me with WAMP 2.2 and PHP 5.3.10, there is no indication of why it fails in any log.
