at first, please excuse me for my bad english...

i installed zenphoto without problems. i can access admin-panel and upload photos. everything is allright. but when i'm goning to my site, no thumbnails are displayed.

when i open the path of an thumbnail, i get the error 403.

I think, the problem is, that the pictures i uploaded, get permission: chmod 600. When i change a permission of a picture to chmoid 640, i will be displayed.

how can i change the general chmod for uploaded picturs? or has somebody an other solution for my problem??

What permissions are assigned on uploading is done by the server. If you upload via FTP you might have setting to the preferred ones (the server needs to allow those to work with scripts like ZP naturally as the strictest don't work on all).

Permissions are determined by what you selected in Setup. What did you choose when you installed the software?
