Since 1.4.2.1 Fatal error: getTitle() template-functions.php

Hi,

Since I use the 1.4.2.1 version, the search keyword function work by return the result, but the link thumbnails lead to an error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTitle() on a non-object in www/albums/zp-core/template-functions.php on line 912

Do you have the same problem ?

    I can confirm this.

    Meanwhile, there have been some changes in template-functions which solve this issue for me.

    Please try the Nightly Trunk.

    There are links to the nightly builds on our download page:
    http://www.zenphoto.org/pages/nightly-builds

    The trunk one is development one for bug fixes of the current release, the dev one is the development build of the next 1.4.3 release.

    You use them as you use regular Zenphoto releases.

    Also confirming this bug…
    Zenphoto-Version 1.4.2.1
    Theme: Zenpage — but seems unrelated to theme

    In my case it seems random, so I was wondering about the Cache-Function, but made no difference when disabled.

    As for your nightly trunk version, how stable is it by now? Save to grab it?
    Or would it better to do a Diff?

    Generally you should never update parts of Zenphoto from a nightly as it may dependent on other changes. Install the nightly as if you install an officical release or wait for the next release,

    I do not want to open a new thread as it is the same issue, but it happens as well in dev build with 1.4.3-DEV [9368]
    Currently concerned file is only email-newuser.php :

    Fatal error: Call to a member function getTitle() on a non-object in [...]/zp-core/zp-extensions/email-newuser.php on line 22

    should be fixed in tonights dev nightly build.
