Hi guys, have setup site, have one master account working fine, have created a dummy user, no special rights, and 1 managed album, this user cannot login at all it just keeps showing login page, unless i give the user GALLERY-VIEWGALLERY rights.
When i give them this they can see all galleries including ones they arent ticked to manage.
Im wanting to be able to create albums for customers, and create a user for them and they can login and only see their album not any one elses, is this possible?
Thanks Guys.

Also, the Zenphoto release and what theme you are using.
What you want to do should work. But from your description you are experiencing some sort of a bug. If I set no rights for the user I do get the login screen back. Probably there should be an error saying he is not allowed to view anything on the back-end, but it does not do so.
if i login to the zp-core/admin link i can login, but there are no galleries to edit.
i cannot login at all on the theme page.
do you have a support email? i can email you login details to check?
As to the Zenphoto version you might just want to install the support build so you are running on all the corrections.
As to the theme, if you are not running one of the themes distributed with Zenphoto you should switch to one of them and see if the problem still exists.
Zenphoto Setup v1.4.5.7[59c22b2fba]: Mon, 18 Nov 2013 12:59:26 +1100
Anyway, I cannot reproduce this behavior. I'm using Zenphoto version 1.4.5.7-DEBUG [5d708277db] but I doubt that makes any difference.
Logon from default theme index page leaves me on the page, but without the logon dialog.
Logon from the admin ends up on the albums tab with the one managed album showing.
Setup the user's rights as you describe.
Do check that your browser cache is not giving you problems.
